 Circa 1350, from Old French sicamor, from Latin sȳcomorus, from Ancient
 Greek συκόμορος (sūkomoros, “fig-mulberry”), from σῦκον (sukon, “fig”) +
 μόρον (moron, “mulberry”). Possibly influenced by Hebrew שִׁקְמָה 
(shikmá, “mulberry”).
